Elemental Fire (Tejas tattva) or Agni

The fifth element is fire which is also known as tejas tattva or agni. It is a symbol of power and energy as it both sustains life and destroys it.

Fire is the element of transformation, and it can be used to purify and cleanse. It is also the element of energy, which means that it can be used to generate heat. Fire can help you get rid of negative energy and bad habits by burning them away with the power of transformation.

The fire element in our body needs good quality fuel to burn bright and strong. It needs a balance of exercise and rest, of healthy food and nourishing drinks, of work and play. It also needs plenty of fresh air.

Tejas Tattva is a Sanskrit word that means “the light of fire”. It is also known as the “fire element”. The Tejas Tattva is associated with heat and light, and it represents energy and power. It is associated with energy, warmth, and dryness. The element of fire is associated with warmth, energy, passion, creativity, and enthusiasm. Fire signs are the most passionate and enthusiastic of all the signs. They are also the most impulsive and impatient, associated with energy, aggression, and impulsiveness. Fire signs are Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius. They are characterized by a passionate, intense personality with a strong will.

In Qabalism, we recognize many Fiery Beings. Agnichaitans are spirits that live in the flames and represent elemental fire. They are considered to be some of the most powerful beings. The classical word for these beings is ‘Salamander’. Most Agnichaitans are said to be able to take on any form they want, but frequently appear as humans with fiery hair and eyes. These we call Pyranthropos. Other examples They are also said to have an insatiable appetite for flesh, which they can only satisfy by eating human beings or animals that have been sacrificed to them.. They are also said to have wings made out of flames that allow them to fly through fire without getting burned. Angels of the Orders of Adonai are known as ‘Souls of Fire’ and the Seraphim, mentioned seven times in the Bible, are sometimes represented as Fiery Angels with wings, generating Light and Ardor of Righteousness. Most of the time, they are represented as fiery winged serpents who fly around and can inflict painful bites. The Holy Biengs of JHVH Eloah Gevurah are known as Dynamis, and represent the Dynamic Motive Forces. Fire is said to manifest in 3 forms: Heat (the Fire that consumes), Light, and the Secret Fire. At the Pentacost, the devotees were possesed by ‘tongues of Fire’.

Agni is the Hindu god of fire. He is also called "Lord Agni" or "Agni-deva", the Lord of Fire. Agni is a deity who represents fire, knowledge, light and energy, and is the god of sacrifice (consumption). Agni is one of the most important gods in Hinduism, and he is often depicted as a man with a red complexion, holding a torch in one hand and a pot full of water in another. Agni yoga is the practice of purity via Fire.

The Nature Of Fire

Nature Comprehends the Visible and the Invisible. This relates to the Self-Registry effect discussed in (Y), which is, Itself, Pink. Pink is of course Red and White. Philosophers have long considered Will or Volition to be the Prime Impetus of all Action or Activity. The Spiritual Philosophers regard Spirit to be Primary in all and thus The Spiritual Will would be the First Cause. Beyond the First Cause would be the Infinite Satisfaction. Spiritual Fire induces Bliss, or Fiery Rapture.

The Spiritual Fire, then, fills the Whole Universe and is the Universal Agent, manifesting in Light, Life and Activity; it is Aliveness, the First Creature of Being.

So God Created this First Invisible Fire. It manifests in 3 Principles:

  1. In the original (Universal) state it is Perfectly Invisible and Tranquil: it displaces no Space and has no Matter.

  2. The 2 State is manifested by Motion and is Light. When the Light is gently agitated it becomes Heat. It is a moistness and Heat causes Fermentation.

    nd

  3. Once it concentrates and is bothered it manifests into burning fire, which continues to burn as long as it is agitated and has a fit subject to act upon. After the fuel is spent, it does not ‘go out’ but returns to rest in the 1 state of Universal Tranquility.

The Universal Spirit has 3 distinct Powers plus: an unerring Instinct, works by the simplest way possible, and is able to attract and repel (or project).

The Elements were Created from the One Element, Fire, Thus:

  1. Fire mixed with Light constitutes Atmospheric Air
  2. Condensed Air becomes Water
